I applied with the experience from previous companies in the workplace exp field that this role wear many different hats. A Jack of all trades, but a master of none. I had a okay experience with the recruiter during the phone screen, it was very difficult to understand her, but I was then set up with a 1:1 with the hiring manager. Hiring manager was very friendly, but her opening line was how Workplace means different things at different companies and what this role basically was a Facilities Manager role. She then proceeded to ask me more FM questions about construction, leases, and real estate, etc. None of this was in the job description. Nearly two months go by, and I get rejected.
