I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Lake Charles, LA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied online, followed up with a phone call to check on the status, was invited to interview with general manager. Very easy process. Be yourself and have a pleasant attitude. They are looking for self-motivated employees.
It was fairly easy. Some behavior questions and questions about hobbies. They also asked me if I had any food service experience. Overall, it wasn't a bad gig between jobs.
Applied online, got a phone call to meet at a cafe, interviewed, got an offer, and accepted the job offer. Then scheduled training and orientation. Pretty easy process, except it is 3rd shift.
Very easy. My previous manager became the bakery manager so they already knew me. I contacted her and we arranged a phone call so we could talk about the position and see if it was a good match. It worked out really well for me then I was able to start soon after.
