I applied online. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Killeen, TX) in Jun 2017
Interview
I applied online and got a call a week later, asking when to set up the interview. The day of the interview, I got there 15 mins early and asked for the manger that I'm supposed to meet with. The cashier gave me a drink and says he should be right out. He came out exactly when the interview was supposed to start. He had a big file folder and my resume printed on top. I greeted him with a handshake and he started off with, have you eaten here before? and I mentioned that I love the broccoli cheddar soup that I pick up at Sam's Club. Then he asked questions on my resume, first about previous job I've had, then school, and about scheduling. After that, he told he's sent someone else out to get a feel for me. Then he asked basically the same questions the manger asked. He then told me they need someone to be front cashier and then noticed I can't work evening on the application I summited online. At the end, they told me they would call or email me. Fast forward to another week later, I heard nothing from them so I called them on the update on my application. They said they chose another candidate and hope the best for my job seeking. Like have the curiosity to at least email me the rejected, I thought I did pretty well for the interview. I guess they wanted someone more flexible schedule.
