The first interview (with a "recruiter"/People Partner) is always guaranteed , which is nice. Most companies don't do this. The person who interviewed me was great and personable. I felt like the conversation went really well, and at the end I asked when all of the candidates would receive a notification if they are selected to move forward or not. They told me that they would reach out to me via email within a week or less, so I waited. It has now been three weeks with no notice, so I checked the website and it said that my application has been "archived". Unfortunately, there is no email address to use to contact anyone at the company. Nothing is worse than being ghosted after an interview. The company's Purpose states: "Our success is the Forest Positive impact we’ve made on the planet.", yet they use AI applications for their HR processing which is extremely detrimental to the environment and counteracts all the work they do to help it. Papercut no longer follows their Values of being Honest and Caring, sadly. I cannot recommend applying to this company.
