I applied directly on the careers page and received a response three weeks later from the recruiting coordinator asking to set up an initial call. She answered all the questions that I had about the role and said she would discuss my background with the hiring manager. A few days later, she emailed me again that they were interested in moving forward and invited me to set up a call with the hiring manager. My call with him mostly consisted of questions about my background and previous analytics engineering projects as well as a few coding questions involving SQL and Python. In the end, though, they let me know a few days after that call that they had decided to move forward with another candidate. Overall, the process was very smooth and their communication was particularly prompt which I definitely appreciated!
