The interview process was over 8 weeks long. I finally got the official job offer and found out that I would have to pay for my own $700 medical. I would have to pay my own way to Miami for training and I would have to put myself up for 10 days of UNPAID training. At the end of this, approx $2000 in debt, they may not offer me a position on board. And I would just be in Miami, stranded and ultimately having to buy a last minute plane ticket home. Or, I get offered a position and I shouldn't expect (according to my recruiter) to make more than $1000 a month in my first few months while I'm still "training." Which means I wouldn't be allowed to make commission. So my first 4 months at sea, I would be paying off the debt I acquired to GET the job. What is this? A pondsie scheme? PASS.
I declined the job offer. I read A LOT of HORRIBLE reviews on Glass Door about this company and this position. I would discourage everyone from this job and company.
