I applied online and received a Skype interview invitation about a week and a half later. The interview was standard, explanation of the position, basic questions about my background.
After that interview we scheduled another for about two weeks later. I was told to prepare a speech on one of their artists with the following requirements:
"Geared toward selling the artist’s work
A maximum of 3 minutes in length
Exciting , engaging, and memorable
Inclusive of his style, brief biographical points, accomplishments and honors
Done without notes, props, or PowerPoint
You should be standing, presented as if in front of an audience of 30 on a cruise ship"
I had technical difficulties with my internet and missed the interview. The recruiter was incredibly understanding and we rescheduled.
The second interview was very short. She heard my speech and then asked if I had any questions and then explained the process going forward. I was instructed to fill out and submit a CSS Enquiry (related to a background check) and Medical Questionnaire to Caribbean Staffing Solutions.
I followed up about a week after submitting the paperwork and scheduled a chat with the recruiter, during which she offered me the position and invited me to the training program. I was sent the onboarding paperwork (of which there was a lot).
After reviewing the paperwork, I decided not to accept the position because I was concerned with the contract and the protections or lack thereof provided to me within.
The entire process took about 9 weeks, or 2 to 3 months, from application to offer.
Overall pretty easy. The recruiter was very friendly.
