My interview went very well and the interviewer told me I was the perfect fit. She said the next step would be a video interview with the hiring manager. I was shocked to receive a rejection email the following week saying I was not a good fit and they would not be proceeding. Interviewers should not lead candidates and give false hope only to receive a rejection email...
