The initial phone interview lasted 30 minutes with two interviewers and was an opportunity for them to get to know me and ask questions. They told me I would get an update within the next week. I didn’t hear back for two weeks, so I sent a follow up email. She replied and said the process is taking longer than expected and would have an update soon. I didn’t get an update for another 2 weeks after that saying they moved forward with other candidates. I just think they should be more transparent in this process and provide frequent updates about the process without me having to wait a month from the initial interview and email to ask myself.
