Interview
Had a phone screening with HR, brought in for 2 on-site interviews, met with 3 managers and finally the controller. Interview was standard and not too difficult. Generic accounting questions and some behavioral.
Received an offer but the amount was well below the range that I had given HR as my expectations. They countered and was still below my range. I declined. My experience is negative because the HR person wasted my time after I told her my expectations and didn’t even come close to it. I wouldn’t have gone forward with interviews knowing that they could only offer my current salary.
On site interviews with the hiring manager and another manager. A few technical questions involved but mostly an interview around fit. The company was growing but still seemed organized

I met with everyone on the operations team - from other senior accountants, to managers, to the assistant controller and controller. The interviews were fluid with questions being asked of me and opportunities for me to ask everyone questions.
