PayPal Lead Engineer interview questions

First had a phone conversation with recruiter to understand my current and previous work experience.I was then scheduled a 30 minute technical interview with someone on the hiring team.The questions were hard code technical along the product I was been hired for.I unfortunately did not have experience in that domain.After 15 minutes I was told that a recruiter would contact me with the results and I knew the results.I was upset that though recruiter knew I had no experience I was pushed to interview with a team where I wouldn't fit in.Was a waste of my time
