Interview
After applying for a NCS Admin position through Paycom's career portal, I was asked to complete a phone screen with one of their recruiters. We spoke about my interest in the position, prior work history, and skill set. Based on my qualifications, he recommended that I apply for a TSR position instead - something I was not previously aware of. He provided me with resources to research the position as well as directions on how to apply. After applying, he set me up with a virtual interview with a department manager. A couple days prior to the interview he set up a prep interview where we discussed what steps I had taken to prepare. He also addressed any lingering questions I had which was extremely helpful! After the interview with the dept. manager, my recruiter called to debrief and let me know that I made it to the final round of interviews. A couple days later I interviewed with the regional executive of the department. Both interviews were structured around behavioral example questions. They were professional but easy to talk to. The next day I received a call notifying me that I was being extended a verbal offer! I felt so supported by the recruiter throughout the entire process. It definitely took away some of the intimidation factor that can sometimes come with interviews.
