I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Grapevine, TX) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview process went well! The recruiter prepared me for the interview and met with me. Everyone I came in contact with was nice, and it was a pleasure meeting with management. I am still waiting to hear back so I have not been given an answer yet but they gave a 24 to 48 hour turnaround time.
I can't remember it word per word, but they asked "Tell me a time" STAR questions.
- When you had to deal with a change and how did you handle it?
- When there was an issue with one of your peers and how did you handle it with management?
- When there was a disagreement with another coworker?
- You had to start a project from start to finish?
- When you communicated with the client for a project?
They asked follow up questions based on your answer.
We're glad the interview process went smoothly for you. Our recruiters actively work to ensure all candidates experience an honest and thorough interview process. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Interview
Had a phone interview and an in person interview. Process was simple and they expected the STAR approach to answering questions. There were 3 people that interviewed me, all were fairly easy-going.

One round phone interview and second round in person interview. Very smooth process which wasn’t very difficult. Asked about previous experiences and your knowledge about tax. The recruiters were friendly and personable during the whole process.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Oklahoma City, OK) in Dec 2024
Interview
A very mellow and interactive interview process. Both ladies were very informative and helpful throughout their questioning and with my questions. I loved how it was a more lengthy interview rather than a very short “ tell me about yourself and why you are good for the job” having more time with both interviewers gave me more information of how paycom thinks, moves, and what it requires from their employees.
