I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Paycom (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
The interview process was FAST - the timeline from applying to receiving the offer letter was 7 business days. In the current job market climate, this was a breath of fresh air! During the week, I had an hour screening call with HR, a 45 min call with the hiring manager, a 30 minute call with the VP, a 1 hour client visit with a local SAM (ride day), and a 1 hour office visit. It gave me a great perspective on the role and I could tell the company was invested in making sure I had all my questions answered by the time the offer came. The HR recruiter checked in with me almost every day and helped me be very aware of each step in the process.

I applied online. I interviewed at Paycom (Fort Worth, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Starts with a quick recruiter call and then the process is supposed to be:
1 Hour virtual with Hiring Manager
30 min virtual with Regional Manager
1 hour presentation in Person
THEY ARE EXTREMELY DISORGANIZED.
My initial recruiter call was cancelled about 10 minutes beforehand because the " role had been filled." At first I did not think too much and my recruiter was very nice and moved my application for an opening at another location. After having the recruiter call she had then scheduled me to meet with a hiring manager. They send you a lot of stuff to review beforehand to prepare and is the only company that demanded a full suite for the interview. I prepped and was in the Zoom to meet with the hiring manager 10 minutes beforehand and just 5 minutes before what the start of the interview was supposed to be I get an email " the role has been filled and the interview is cancelled." Total waste of time, another recruiter reached out and said they would be calling me at a certain time and never called. I like to give people and companies the benefit of the doubt, but they cancel interviews last minute and want you to chase them. I had taken the day off of work to accommodate the hiring manager interview that was cancelled last minute.
