      Rather Not Say. Interview

      Feb 12, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Oklahoma City, OK
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Oklahoma City, OK)

      Interview

You apply and after a day or few days you receive an email to set up a phone interview. After the phone interview if selected, you come to headquarters for an in-person interview. The instructions for being on campus are confusing at first because there is so much security onsite (and you think “why is there this much security?” Which you will find out once hired). You have to badge in with the gate attendant who makes sure you’re on the list of approved visitors. Once you get in, you then after to walk through metal detectors and have your ID checked again for being a visitor. The interview is the easiest part. Once you’re selected for hire, you then have to go through rigorous paperwork, a background check (which I think should happen prior to accepting/in-person interviewing) and set up a drug/urine test. In total for everything it took: 1 day to set up phone interview for following day. 1 day to set up in-person onsite interview that was 5 days away. 1 day after in-person onsite interview offer of job. And then over 5 weeks before the actual start day because they have to do all the paperwork, background check, and drug tests (which I completed in under 3 days and could’ve started quicker).
