I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Payless ShoeSource (Victoria, BC) in Aug 2013
Interview
I applied in store and filled out the online survey that is required of all applicants, which takes about fifteen to thirty minutes to do, and then I received a phone call a few days later from the manager, asking me to come down for an interview that day. She interviewed me in the store's back room and asked me a few generic interview questions about past experience, why I wanted to work at Payless, etc. Then she asked me to sell her a pen, which was awful. It was all very casual and the manager was very friendly and outgoing. The next day she called to offer me the job!
