I applied online. I interviewed at Payless ShoeSource (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2014
Interview
I first interviewed with the District Store Leader from the North and that was a one on one Q&A and then a role play. He called the next day and offered me an assistant store leader position, which I declined. I kept checking the site and 2 weeks later found an opening for Store Ledaer in the South and applied. I was called by the District Leader and scheduled an interview with one of his Group Leaders. This was also Q&A and role play. He called a few days later and said I was eligible for a second interview which we scheduled. That was conducted by him and the District Leader and at the end of it I was officially offered the position, which I accepted. I started a week after that.
