I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (Lake Mary, FL) in Jun 2016
Interview
I came up in an elevator to a second-floor landing, which led to two double glass doors and a really neat Paylocity logo. A nice gentleman who was nearby popped out of the doors and asked if I was there for an interview. I told him who I was supposed to meet and he was kind enough to get the interviewing manager. The manager came around the corner and introduced himself and then walked us to a conference room where another manager was waiting. It was a behavioral style interview or S.T.A.R. method. Both managers were super nice, super professional, never looked down to write notes and just had a natural conversation about my customer service experience.

Tell us about a customer service experience where a customer was escalated and what you did to turn it around?
I applied online. I interviewed at Paylocity (Schaumburg, IL) in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview process started with 4 assessments. There were timed math, spatial awareness and reasoning assessments and an untimed behavioral assessment. From there I was contacted for a Microsoft teams interview with my recruiter. After that, there was an in-person interview with the hiring managers. I had a third interview on Teams, but I don't think that is normally the case. All in all the process was great, they made it easy and it went quickly. I never went more than 2 business days without hearing from someone.
