I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Paylocity (Meridian, ID) in Jun 2019
Interview
Very unprofessional and fake, a dominating vibe, unprepared and tried to fake it. Seemed to draw a conclusion about me even before the interview. Entry level questions. Star method not used. Did not care to understand the depth of my accomplishments within my roles in work and how it related to what I was applying for. When Id explain I had my own business (fairly recently) no excitement took place or any further questions about owning a business. Seemed bored with me. I had no gaps in my jobs and explained my background well to help them see the path I took. I withdrew myself later after the interview so I have no idea if there would be an offer. Very disconnected vibe among the three co workers. A preview of whats to come if working there... waste of my time and energy.

Interview
Initial screening via an online meeting and then additional online meetings are scheduled. I elected not to continue with the interview process as it appears that they are continually interviewing candidates but not actually doing any hiring.

Interview
Al. Peaches and cream but when you get hired your thrown in with unprofessional immature training staff. The trainer like to scratch his but under his pants. Other people in training burp so loud in your ear when they are behind you. Hiring is mostly referred so nepotism is high.
I interviewed here a year ago and it still makes me bitter to think about. I was told by the recruiter that it would be behavioral-style interview and to come prepared for that and the challenging questions that go along with it. A couple of days later when I actually sat down at the interview, it immediately started off on a sour note when interviewer said "interesting resume..." in a noticeably sarcastic tone. A totally unnecessary comment, no matter what you think of an applicant’s resume. The panel then proceeded to question me about my work history from the absolute beginning of my working career - as in the laundromat and burger stand I worked at when I was fifteen. It was around this subject that all subsequent questions revolved, only allowing the final five or so minutes for any questions that could be considered ‘standard’ for an interview or were actually relevant. Because of this, I wasn’t able to talk about my experience that was actually applicable and how it would translate to the role I was interviewing for, and of course did not receive an offer. Ultimately, it was a waste of everyone’s time. Never have I had a more unproductive or obnoxious interview, and had I been offered the position I would have turned it down anyway. If this is how Paylocity conducts their interviews, then I'd rather not even work for them. Maybe this is standard process for their company, or maybe the employees on my panel were last minute replacements for interviewers who had something come up. Either way, it was a complete joke and I’m glad that I found employment elsewhere.
