First, I had a phone interview with the recruiter. She mainly told me about the position itself, asked me my background, and got some information about me and my skills. Seems like she was there to weed people out. Second, I came into the Paylocity office and had a tour of the building. Then I met with the members of the department that were hiring; they all asked me questions and gave more information about the position. I then had one hour to, from scratch, create a "guide" to utilizing the software. It was a tough interview, and the written part was something I've never done in an interview before, but I appreciate that they were trying to make sure I would be up to the tasks needed within the position.
