The Paymentus recruiter scheduled various times to talk and either missed them or rescheduled at the last minute. Finally we were able to chat and his description of the company was lack luster. He did not understand the company's strengths nor shared any real selling points. When I asked about some of the job's details he was vague. When he brought up compensation, he asked what I was making - I asked in turn what was budgeted for the position and he wouldn't give me even a ballpark figure. I told him that if he can't tell me what is budgeted for the position our conversation was over - and it was.
