Spoke with a recruiter. While the initial call was pleasant enough, she kept coming back to salary expectations. I explained that I'd be more comfortable discussing it at a later stage after talking with someone from the team to gauge mutual interest. After this all communication stopped. No response to follow up emails. Company's primary motivation appears to be saving money and not pay for quality talent. Extremely unprofessional!
