I applied online. I interviewed at Pearson in Aug 2022
Interview
I got an email and a scheduling appointment confirmation with the recruiter and they never showed up on the day of the interview and never responded again. I tried following up and they completely ignored me. I was a great fit too. Industry, role, and competitor experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pearson
Interview
Two months from start to finish. Fairly straightforward and simple. Everyone I met was amazing, super nice!! Positive experience until the end and yes I have had positive no offer experiences.
My feedback to Pearson would be to give final candidates a call or personalized email to let them know you've gone a different direction. For a role related to building the Pearson brand, whose mission is 'lifetime learning', to ignore a request for personalized feedback (for growth and development) was a missed opportunity to let the brand shine, authentically. Instead, I'm left wondering whether the brand mission is just lip service.
Applied online. It took about two weeks before being notified that my application was not being considered and that were moving forward with other applicants. Provided general resume feedback in the email notification that was helpful if applying for future positions.
