I was contacted by internal recruiter to see if I was interested in the position, and after a 30 minute phone call with the recruiter I was offered an in person interview. The interview consisted of two 1 hour sessions with a panel of project managers. I thought it weird that most of the interviewers had been with the company for less than a year. The interview was very straight forward and I thought it went fairly well. It consisted of going over my experience and some general questions regarding project management. The recruiter responded to my first inquiry that she was waiting to hear back from the hiring manager, who wasn't at the interview. It has now been over 2 weeks and I never heard back from the recruiter, so I am safe to assume that I was not selected. I think it is very rude and unprofessional to simply cut off communication without so much as a final decision. I should have checked glassdoor before going in for an interview, as I am not the first person to submit this complaint.
