Applied online. Contacted for a phone interview with a calendly link to select a date. The first open date was over 2 weeks out. Recruiter called promptly at the scheduled time. What a total waste of my time. She started by reading the company description from their own website and then reading the job posting word-for-word. I know because I had it open on my screen right in front of me and was following along. She then asked questions that were already answered in the application: authorized to work in the US, need sponsorship to work in the US, any NDA, open to going to the office x days per week, if I had managed a team (only wanted yes/no answers). When it came my turn to ask questions I asked about a typical day-to-day. She re-read the entire job posting word-for-word. She seemed very junior and not familiar with the role she was discussing. To cap it all there was a baby babbling in the background. Did not come away with a professional impression of this company.
