      Recruiter Interview

      Dec 18, 2013
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at PeopleShare in Dec 2013

      Interview

They contact you and act as if they are hiring NOW ...I spoke with one of their recruiters after my interview, while he was outside having a smoke break, and he informed me that THEY ARE REALLY NOT HIRING UNTIL THEY PLAN ON FIRING SOMEONE...AND THIS HAPPENS QUARTERLY LIKE CLOCKWORK. Really??? They fire recruiters every quarter!!! He said they will hire you, give you a start date, and fire the person the day before your start!!! This sounds like a brutal company!! This is good inside information to have. When interviewing, they ask typical behavioral interview questions and make you do a recorded video. It is really no big deal. They make you think that this is the best company that has ever hit the staffing industry...They claim they are different. I guess that since they FIRE RECRUITERS QUARTERLY, they are different. I am afraid to pursue this company if offered a position. I looked at their website and noticed the dates the recruiters were hired. NONE have been there very long considering they started their company in 2005. I will take my 10 years of experience and go elsewhere.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

None to speak of. Typical questions directed at making you justify your experience. Just be prepared for that.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We're sorry to hear what you took away from your experience interviewing with us. Please understand that our company started with 2 people grew to 13 branches in 3 states. This is why you see a lot of employees who have just started with us over the last few years. We have a growing organization and on average we have opened 1-2 offices a year since 2008; in 2013 alone opened 4 offices which added approximately 20 new staff members to our team. We certainly do not fire recruiters every quarter. We seek the best fit for our company and want to make sure anyone joining the team also feels we are a best fit for them. We wish you all the best of luck in your career and again we thank you for your feedback - we take this very seriously and use it to continually improve our processes.

      Recruiter Interview

      Jun 24, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Pottstown, PA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PeopleShare (Pottstown, PA)

      Interview

I was asked to apply via an internal recruiter, purchased a webcam for the interviews. Went through multiple rounds of talking to the recruiter, doing a "personality quiz", and interviewing with others in the company. Was ultimately not offered anything, which is completely fine. What was annoying were the continued calls from others in their company saying I had an active resume and asking if I was ready to apply for the job fits they had for me. The people I interviewed with were nice but overall it felt like a massive waste of time, and therefor was a negative experience.
