Interview
The recruiting experience has been absolute garbage. They complain of having a hiring and retention problem, and I 100% know why. I completed the whole interview process and not once did I speak to the recruiter on the phone. A final interview/panel interview was scheduled same-day, last minute which I had to scramble to prepare for with 0 information. Not once did anyone ask me about salary, timeline, what I was looking for, etc. The final result was that the posted budget of the role was no longer valid and they had to decrease it. Did anyone tell me? No. It was only after multiple follow-ups that I heard anything and was told this information. Have they hired anyone? I have no idea. Is the position filled? No idea. They just responded with the lower salary range and that it was too low for me. How does anyone know that? No clue because no one ever asked me. The interview was 2 parts. The first was only 2 questions about my qualifications, the rest talking in general. The second was a panel interview for 30min, but ran out of time to ask questions.
