Performance Team Human Resources Site Manager interview questions

I went through 5 rounds of interviews; however, very disappointed when they had told me they were going to schedule me for another round of interview, and when I had called to follow up, I ended up getting an email from the recruiter saying even though I had 6 stellar references who had remarkable things to say about my performance, that they didn't like the reason why I was leaving my current organization. As big as industry it is, its also very small, and when you have been working in the industry for quite some time, you learn the in's and outs. They put me in a difficult position and scoped with their "references" without the authorization of my background check.
