      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Persistent Systems (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Nov 2023

      Interview

Applied via campus-drive. 4 rounds were to be taken- Online test assessment, Technical interview ( Levels L1 and L2), Online communication assessment, HR round. For the technical and subsequent rounds, students were called in Persistent Gurgaon office.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Online assessment comprised of 5 sections- Verbal ability, Aptitude, Analytical/logical, Technical mcqs and Coding section (2 questions, 1st was a word problem question where solution was simply to find sum of every alternate element of the given array. 2nd question was- given an array and an index i, you need to sort the array in ascending order up to the index i and then rest of the elements in descending order.) Overall test was easy. 10 were selected for L1. I was one of them. For subsequent rounds the selected students were called to the Gurgaon office. *** For L1 round, the interviewer asked basic questions. Interview lasted for 40-45 min. Some ques were- - Diff. types of database - Diff. b/w SQL and NoSQL database - Can we store images in database? If yes then in what type of database? - What is subnet and its use? - Diff. classes of IP - What is physical address? - How does a computer work? -Diff. b/w C and C++ (because my preferred language was C++ on resume) - Who invented C++ and in what year? (Some students were asked to code in this round by their interviewers.) 8 were selected for L2. I was one of them. For L2 round, I had 2 interviewers, one was connected through online meeting. Here I was asked one puzzle based on probability. Then two were output based questions where one was on HTML and CSS, and the other one was on C++. I had to discuss my thought process and approach for these questions. I didn't clear this round. *** As per those who had cleared L2, further rounds were like- Online communication test was on some platform that had various listening and speaking exercises. HR round had basic, usual questions. *** 3 were finally selected for base package 5 LPA.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Persistent Systems (South Goa) in Dec 2025

      Interview

This is for fresher offcampus drive with Revature, First we had Assessment (Coding, MCQs) and Technical Interview (mostly on resume skills and internships), Those who cleared these were shortlisted for a 3 months training under Revature (Don't consider yourself in persistent yet), The training is mostly on Tech stack of the project you'll be hired so grind hard, every week we used to have coding, MCQs and SQL assessments, also weekly Interviews by Revature to assess on weekly taught syllabus. You are rated out of 5, every week on you performance weekly (These scores are considered by PSL for final selections, don't neglect), and if scored less than 3 consistently....They might eliminate you during trainings, After 3 months of aggressive training and grind, PSL will have final Assessments and Interviews, mostly focused on what you learned for last 3 months in training, Coding, SQL queries and Technical Interview. If you clear all these they have a HR round, some casual HR questions and you'll be mailed the offer letter, Interview and assessments are average difficulty i would say, but overall lengthy and hectic training process make me rate Interview difficulty - Difficult
