It took 30 minutes to interview with Hiring Manager. Questions were not too difficult to answer. I do not think I did terribly. Turn out they said they are looking for people with more experience. even though those skills they want, I have done it in the research lab at school for 2 years

Interview over the phone twice over the phone. Later got an email invitation to schedule an onsite interview and I was interviewed by more than several people. They do give false hope by give a tour of the lab. They ask random technical questions on the resume.

Tell me about yourself and what you know about company. How would your last supervisor describe you? How many samples have your worked on at one time? How many sample did you process at your past employer? What are the components of qPCR? How do you deal with stress?

Overall, nontechnical. Just know the library prep protocol steps.
They did not test my knowledge to see if i knew the chemistry behind making ngs libraries.
Got a lab tour ( gives false hope to people) , and a pipetting test. -not hard at all!
