After applying online, I set up a phone screen with their recruiter. 15 minutes after the scheduled time, the recruiter still hadn't called me, so I called them. She apologized and said she didn't have my number. But my number was listed on my resume and I had emailed it to her when we set up the phone screen. We proceeded anyway, and when we discussed the role, she said there were positions available on four different shifts. This detail became important later. She then scheduled a phone interview with me and the hiring manager. The manager called me and we got along well. Next step was on the on-site. Everyone I met on-site was friendly, and they asked standard, behavioral questions. But shortly after the interview started, they informed me that the job I was interviewing for actually had a lower title than was advertised. Yet the interview schedule HR had sent me still had the original title. I thought this was incredibly misleading. They could easily have notified me of this before I came in for the interview. Moreover, they now said there was only a position open on one shift. After the lab tour, they said I would hear back from them early the next week. That time came and went, and I never heard from them. By this point, I was not surprised by their behavior.
