I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PetSmart in Nov 2012
Interview
I filled out applications repeatedly before I finally got a call (my manager said there were 26 applications on file...) The interview was private between me, the hiring manager and the store manager (but I know they'll sometimes choose to do group interviews instead). I wore a nice skirt and blouse. The overall vibe of the interview was professional but laid back. There weren't any difficult questions. The company requires a background check and drug test.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
My hiring manager handed me a Sharpie and told me to sell it to her.
Was asked some basic questions pertaining to my knowledge of animals, customer service, etc. It was probably about 30 minutes long and pretty basic. I'd say it's the typical process for a first job for a teenager.
very simple, one on one interview. asks basic questions! felt like talking to a friend instead of having a tense interview. got to know my manager in the process which was nice.
I applied online. I interviewed at PetSmart (Oakville, ON)
Interview
I applied online and had an interview with the assistant store leader. I was supposed to have another interview with the store leader but they called me with the job offer before that. The interview happened in the dog training room.
