I was called in quickly for an interview, once in I sat down in the break room and we talked a bit about what the job entailed and they asked pretty general interview questions like some qualities I had and why I thought they were beneficial. They asked what did I think the most important thing about a store visit was and I responded with customer service. They love customer service, it's the number one thing they always want you talking about. I shared my experience with animals and the manager had be try to sell her on a product after I was given time to look it over. She asked some questions I would ask a customer when trying to assist with their purchase and I was quickly hired.
