I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PetSmart (Mississauga, ON) in Jun 2011
Interview
After reviewing my resume and skills with the DM he felt that the position I was applying for was not suited for me and therefore we discussed alternate position that my skills were better suited for. The interview was one on one with the DM. It was also one on one with the Store Manager of the store that I interviewed with.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly the questions in both situations were situationaly questions. Tell me about a time you had a difficult employee / difficult customer. Walk me through a sale to a customer buying dog food. Do you have pets.
Every step of the way from the recruiter, hiring manager and panel hiring team was professional, warm and engaging. They are pet lovers and make that very clear from the beginning
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PetSmart (Phoenix, AZ) in Aug 2019
Interview
Solid interview with the normal questions. I was interviewed by the direct managers of the position. On completion of the interview I was walked out by one of the interviewers, and I am certain there was a final test that I failed due to giving my attention to the person walking me out. I am an attentive person, and on the way out there was some trash on the ground that was not there as we walked in. He made a point of picking it up (again, I did not see it) and placing it in a nearby trash can.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at PetSmart
Interview
Did initial interview at campus with two local General Managers, then the second round was done with the District Manager and some lady from HR. It was neat, because I went on to work directly with the interviewing GM's and that District Manager.
