I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PetSmart (Chantilly, VA) in Sep 2015
Interview
I applied online and was in contact with the manager for a month before we set up an interview and another month before I actually started working there. Was well worth the wait I love my job although it isn't easy. Came in casual clothes, asked about my availability, my previous work experience a lot, how I handle certain situations that often happen in retail like dealing with a picky customer, which there are lots at my petsmart. My manager said he hired me because I smile a lot and seem very nice and positive, petsmart seeks that atmosphere.

What was a problem you've had at work before and how did you handle it?
Called me into the store and asked basic questions about what I'd be comfortable doing and hours that I would want to work. Very simple overall. Got a call back a few days later
Very disorganized in the beginning but I finally got in touch with the right person and the remainder of the process was seamlless. They were willing to take a chance on me and I really appreciated that
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PetSmart (Plant City, FL)
Interview
Short and sweet. Offered job same or next day. Single interview and consisted of easy to answer questions and was with 2 managers, at the same time. Job was amazing! I only left due to a major car accident that caused a horrible back surgery.
