I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at PetSmart (Lady Lake, FL) in Jan 2016
Interview
A day after I entered in my application to their website, I got a call for an interview that took place a few days later. That interview went very well, and I was told to come in the next day for another interview with a different person. I went in for the 2nd interview the next day but I had to wait for a bit because they were really busy. I went through my second interview in about 10 - 15 minutes, and they said that they would call the applicants later that day to let them know.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you react to a long-time customer who was angry and said they weren't going to come back to the store.
Was asked some basic questions pertaining to my knowledge of animals, customer service, etc. It was probably about 30 minutes long and pretty basic. I'd say it's the typical process for a first job for a teenager.
very simple, one on one interview. asks basic questions! felt like talking to a friend instead of having a tense interview. got to know my manager in the process which was nice.
