I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Pfizer (Cambridge, MA) in May 2022
Interview
The interview process was quite typical. Involved speaking with HR then a hiring manager, followed by an in person seminar and further interviews with members of the team. Very little information is provided about the scientific programs which is to be expected in the absence of a non-disclosure agreement.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview questions were quite typical. Questions about experience, motivation and interest.
HR interview was for 20 minutes and was yes/no questions. Technical interview was straight forward but challenging. They were fast in getting back after the interview. Sometimes they do on-site interview. In general the interview process is so similar to other companies.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pfizer (Pearl River, NY) in Aug 2024
Interview
I spent full one day for onsite interviews.
Seminar presentations and meeting with hiring manager, 2 of her bosses. The big boss was very rude and bully.
One of the interviewer was rude, combative and was attacking me through out the interview.
I was seated in very small room with up to 6 people which was even too small for 2 person.
Everyone was repeating the same questions I was asked by previous panel. And the process was very tiresome and challenging.
First, they follow up application with a HR phone screen followed by Hiring Manager phone interview followed by panel interview with presentation. Takes 4 to 6 weeks for the whole process to complete.
