Pharos Systems Position Within OME Solutions interview questions

I was referred by a former co-worker of mine and then I received a call from the executive assistant to schedule three separate one hour interviews all back to back. One with a potential team member, HR/Recruiter(who knows), and potential direct manager. Interview with team member and potential manager focused on my past experience and how I will fit in with the company, etc. Those went pretty well. Interview with HR person seemed pointless because I was told he is not an actual Pharos employee just an consultant. Was then told if interested I will be called back for a 2nd round of interviews. The next day I received a call to schedule THREE more one hour interviews including another person from HR and a few more potential team members. Questions were all basically the same, etc. Overall the number of interviews was just a bit overwhelming. I can understand three but SIX! I wasn't expecting to get the job after the 2nd set of interviews. A month later another secretary sent an generic 'Rejection" letter. The job is still posted on the website (been there since November of 2011 along with a few others) and the job requirements changed as well. Some of the new requirements listed I was told in the interview would not be needed in the job role.
