I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Philip Morris International (Lausanne) in Aug 2019
Interview
I applied online. HR contacted me by phone after a couple of weeks for a first screening round, they asked about availability and salary expectations. After another week and a half I was scheduled for a skype interview with the Data Science Lead and two associates. The interview lasted 1 hour and I didn't have the chance to ask all questions I had planned. The Lead briefly explained the job without too much detail and I was then interrogated in a stressful aggressive way by one of the two associates. I wasn't expecting a technical interview, especially in those terms. This associates spoke twice as much as the Lead, which made me worried. Even more worrying was when I asked about the educational background of the data science team and the same associate spoke for 5 minutes about herself and her career, as if she was the interviewee. Eventually I gave them a strict deadline for a response, mentioning I had another offer on the table. The next day I decided I was not going to withdraw my candidature. The following day they contacted me and informed me they were not going to take my interview any further (pfew!). They offered to provide a feedback and I accepted straight away, but they've gone dark since then and I'm still waiting for them to organize a call with me.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Philip Morris International in Sep 2023
Interview
The interviews went well. At the end of the last interview, I was told that I was the strongest candidate but they were planning to change the location of the position from Spain to Polland and if I was interested in moving to Poland. Honestly, it took them 2.5 months to interview me and at the end they asked me to move to another country. If I know they were going to ask this I wouldn't even interview from the beginning.

I applied online. I interviewed at Philip Morris International (Utrecht) in Mar 2020
Interview
There was 2 interviews, one with a member of the recruitment team, and the second with 2 data scientists. Finally a case study, with a presentation. The case study topic was about a taxi's best route to maximize benefits. They only give you 2 days to finish, so if you are already working full time, it is very hard to finish on time.
