After a month with several calls, phone interviews with different people, I got the final stage. I was interviewed by one of the managers and one of HR team 2 weeks ago.
They asked me to prepare a business case and discuss about it, but once there, the Hr person didn’t look at it and it was clear she didn’t know anything about it. It was also clear that she didn’t even bother to take a look to my website!
Random questions that were already asked three times and having to go through the same process again was very disappointing and respectful.
Regarding the manager it was clear that she had a very quick overview of my business case probably 2h before my interview.
My feeling was that I was speaking with people that didn’t know and didn’t care anything about what I was saying.
Very disappointed; funny enough while I was exposing my business case to the manager, the Hr person started yawning behind my back.
When I tuned towards her, she stopped.
What I understood from her very rude behaviour was that I was saying was very boring for her (poor thing), or maybe she didn’t know anything about the topic and didn’t even care... considering that should be her job (interviewing people), i would suggest PMI to make a better selection of their hr London unit.
This is supposed to be a professional interview where hr team should make you comfortable. How are they able to make a realistic selection with these kind of HR team members is beyond me.
I am really really disappointed about them.
I expected something more from a company like Philip Morris. Plus, after weeks from the worst interview experience of my life, they totally disappeared
They didn’t reply to my emails..nothing.
People invest their time and energy into these kind of multiple stage interviews: preparing business case, etc, and PMI do not find a second of their busy life to let people know if they get a job or not?!
Maybe this silence is just their way to say “hey, you didn’t get the job!”.
It is really disrespectful , you don’t treat people like human beings, but just like numers.
Avoid at all costs! Total waste of energy and time.
