I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Philips in Jun 2016
Interview
At first the phone interview started with the standard questions you'd expect from a first round interview with HR. The only non-standard question was to briefly mention one or two projects that I've done.
He then proceeded to say that they were giving preference to candidates who were local (I'm 1500 miles away from the position). He also did not give me the opportunity to ask any questions, so the interview was done in 15 minutes. An hour later I got an e-mail stating that the position has been filled.
So basically I lost this job before the interview even began.
