      Global Operations Manager Interview

      May 28, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PicnicAI (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2020

      Interview

The process was relatively straightforward - a couple of phone interviews with recruiters and hiring manager, then a take-home exercise which I presented to a panel, a whiteboarding session with a team member, then a final interview with the hiring manager. The recruitment team stayed in touch throughout, and were super responsive answering questions.

      1. Phone screening with a recruiter 2. Interview with the hiring manager 3. Take-home exercise 4. Panel presentation & interview 5. Interview with the COO The end-to-end interview process was a great experience. The recruiter answered all of my questions, maintained open communication, and provided helpful feedback. Everyone I met with was kind, engaged, and definitely seemed like they enjoyed working at the company. The team’s passion and commitment to excellence in tackling challenging real-world problems was apparent throughout the process. Overall, it was a very positive experience and regardless of the outcome, I felt valued as a candidate and grateful for the experience.

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PicnicAI (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2019

      Interview

I applied online and had an initial phone screen. I then had to take The Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test, or CCAT. This test is timed and you need to pass to move on (I recommend some practice tests). I also took a personality test. Then I had a 45 minute video interview with the hiring manager. I enjoyed the initial phone screen and I thought the CCAT was very odd (something I haven’t done since applying for an entry level role). The interview with the hiring manager was disappointing. She emailed me to reschedule after one of her meetings that day got cancelled, then she was late, seemed unprepared, and made it clear that she was trying to think of questions on the spot. She made it seem like it was an inconvenience for her to be there. I never heard back from anyone at that company- not even to just let me know that I would not be moving forward. Very unprofessional and poor experience.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 2
