Got a call from a HR recruiter asking to schedule an interview about 4 weeks after applying. Scheduled two weeks out, she was very nice and gave me information about what to expect. Arrived 30 minutes early and was greeted by the HR lady that called me and was offered water and told me they were on time and would be with me soon. It was a panel interview with 6 clinical managers from the different medsurg floors and an educator of some sort. So 7 people total. They each introduced themselves and described their floors. They had about ten questions they each took turns asking and each wrote notes about my answers. After the questions were done there was 2 clinical scenario questions that they wanted you to read and talk through what you would do in each scenario. Pretty simple scenarios about clients post surgery with suspected infection and one with s/s of a stroke. Just asked what would you want to get ordered and what would you do. After that they asked what areas you were most interested in. They each gave me their business card when I left. It was very quick 15-20 minutes top and was very laid back and comfortable. I was called before I got home and was offered 3 different positions.
