Interview
The first interview began with a phone screen and, since it was my first experience with one, I was very nervous about it. Luckily, there was very little to be nervous about. The interviewer was sincere and easy to talk to, which made it easy to give honest and clear answers. A few questions, from what I can remember, involved salary, interest in the position and details about my education (what the courses were like and what I learned).
The next part was an interview with upper management at their Mississauga office. They were very easy to talk to as well and the questions were almost exclusively behavioural. A few also extended into my education and how I worked with others and what problems I had encountered (and how they were resolved). They seemed very interested in getting to know me and figuring out if I would be a fit for the current team. Close to the end, they had to get to a meeting, but they still allowed time for questions without making me feel like I was pressed for time.
Afterward, they asked that I complete a personality quiz and stress that I answer it honestly. Honestly, it is surprising how accurate the results are. Overall, it was a good experience and, if nothing else, it helped prepare me for any future interviews I may have.
