Interview
Onsite Interview. Consisted of 4 1-on-1 interviews with different managers. There were a number of other candidates also interviewing and rotating among the interviewers. Provided a lunch to begin or end your interview session and allow more questions to be asked.
It started off with an online application. It is hard to decipher through Pioneers job postings online. You can read them and not really understand what they are actually looking for. I then had a phone interview and it went well and they asked me back within a week to do a series of interviews. It lasted 4 hours. My understanding was I was the only one brought in after the phones. I feel this is abnormal for Pioneer.

Interview
The communications process to start was largely through the website. Be warned - a lot of the job positions listed are 'honey pots', not necessarily jobs that they are looking to require immediate staffing but a way of collecting resumes for future openings. (The jobs needing immediate staffing are also listed elsewhere, like Dice.)
The tone of the interview was a bit surprising - mostly questions asking to whether or not I felt the position would be challenging enough. After discussions with the larger group my interest in that specific group quickly waned.
