I had a similar experience to the most recent review for an HR position. Interviewer read off a few generic behavioral questions and I didn't feel like she was completely present or interested from the start. A couple times I think someone was in the room with her during the remote interview as she would occasionally look up over the camera and try to stifle a laugh. I'm not sure what was going on in the background but it made the whole situation feel even more awkward.
After the 2nd interview, I received an automated reply basically saying no thanks. Very impersonal. Definitely not a great candidate experience.
