Recruiter reached out to me on Linkedin. Exactly like what everyone else is saying , the process was shady. I talked to the CTO on the phone and then a panel of three -- CEO, CTO, and a Data Scientist -- in a hotel conference room in Palo Alto.
The recruiter initially told me they are opening an office in bay area in 2017, which was a complete lie only to get me interview, when I confirmed with the CEO, he said "We are looking into it, in the next year!". Basically this is a remote role, if there is any actual opening at all; they told me they have 6 product manager opening where, according to Linkedin, the whole company is less than 50!!
Questions were mostly around what my company does and what the org looks like, and some industry questions. It definitely looked like they want to understand what's happening in the industry and with their competition.
