I don't believe they are giving people honest opportunities to interview at this company. There's just no way. Something else is clearly going on here because the in person interview for Software Engineers is a joke.
What happened to me is no different than any of the other reviews. Some guy dressed like the Santa Monica Homeless population claims he's the CTO and takes you into a conference room for the interview.
He "claims" he only has 15 minutes to speak, and then just asked me maybe three super vague questions about my 7 years of work experience and then opens the floor up for you to ask questions in a super rushed fashion as if he decided he wasn't going to hire me as soon as I walked in.
Granted, I was in a three piece suit. Maybe if I had rolled out of bed and interviewed in my PJ's he would have felt more comfortable.
He was basically a forty year old man dressed like a homeless teenager.
My advice would be don't waste your time. I have a suspicion that they already knew who they were hiring and didn't give me an honest shot. Oh well. The office looked horrible anyway.
