The whole process just showed me how unorganized this company is. I applied and a recruiter reached out to me to say they were interested in a call. I sent over my availability but never heard back. Then one morning at 10am, I get a random call but I don't pick up and it's a voicemail from the recruiter apologizing and realizing they set up an interview with me but never sent me the confirmation. I instantly called back, did the interview on the spot and was immediately moved to the second round. They rushed the entire phone screening and sounded distracted so I was a bit wary on being moved forward so fast.
We set up a Zoom call with the person I would be supporting. Granted, I was out of town but took the time to prep and be presentable for the Zoom call. Literally 3 minutes before I was supposed to do the interview, I got a cancellation of the meeting. Then 4 minutes after the scheduled interview, the recruiter sent me an apology email stating that the person I was supposed to be interviewing with already moved on with another candidate and they weren't informed.
It was a huge waste of my time and it shows they lack communication in their department. I guess it was a blessing in disguise because I wouldn't want to work for a company like this.
