Planful Director, People Operations interview questions

Three rounds of interviews before rejection. One with recruiter, which was great. One with HM and one cross-functional and didn't make it to subsequent interviews. Picked up the vibe that there's a disconnect on what they seem to be looking for. Recruiter stated that they need the position filled ASAP and that they're not looking for someone so senior but not so junior. Second interview by HM, was told that the interview process "was going to take a long time". The cross-functional/team person interview, was asked one question that was prefaced as an interview on just "getting to know each other". Slight disconnect and misalignment on org. design structure and job description as well. Job description wasn't updated to reflect geographic locations of responsibility while realigning job duties internally. People were nice and friendly and comp range was fair but process optimization is needed. Another review here mentions that there's a bit of insularity and pre-existing relationships at past companies, which makes sense.
